Love to see some pics!
By aerogarden, you don't mean that little tabletop thing, do you?
I always wondered if anyone would try to grow weed with that.
Either way, I'll keep watching for some pics.
By the way, those are some awesome choices - I really like Himalayan Blue Diesel.

Thanks! Trying to get pics uploaded but not cooperating it's beyond me. ANd yes the tabletop aerogarden I like its setup. But I'm looking into stealth closet the tall ones on ebay for 150 to 300 dollars. But I was preapproved for medical card so I may not need to invest in closet cabinents. I'll grow outdoors without worry lol. Man these pictures won't upload and picture are like windows into growers world ya know?

On the aerogarden, did you change out the light? or was it strong enough to work?
That was my concern with it - that it would be strong enough for cooking herbs, but not weed.
and, I know what you mean about the pics.

YEA IT'S EXTREMELY BRIGHT! And I mean bright I have to close my closet door at night because from outside it looks like the ceiling light is on. So I stay conscience of it because sometimes my son opens the door and it stays open up until 2 or 3 in the morning because it's in his closet. Only place available in my whole house it sucks. But its the perfect location for what I have going on in there. I didn't change the light but I've been looking at the modified hoods that take regular cfl lights. That are sold on ebay for 50 bucks I'm interested in buying one for convience. THe aerogarden hod lights must be purchased fro aerogarden or an online source. And they cost like 15 bucks for one light bulb. So keep that in mind if you buy one. But the lights stay remarkably cool. There's not alot of heat in that closet which is surprising considering what I see you have to do with other lighting. It's a really nice basic system, clean and convient. But if you grow taller strains grab an extention for your aerogarden. It's a real simple aproach to growing but make sure to change the water out weekly when your plants are ready for nutes. I've found you have to maintain clean water or else the plants will droop and have you looking everywhere for help! I learned this the hard way I lost my lemon kush plus my other plants. But the lemon kush was the most important plant to me at the time. Because I cared for it from seed and talked to her everyday and when she started showing drooping leaves my inexperience cause the demise of my lovely lady who was eight weeks old! I lost everything despite my efforts and it hurt sorely. I'm still alittle tender over her for it just happened three weeks ago. So post on this site when you get yours up and running! That's why I'm on here looking for council. So I don't have to suffer lost. Fortunantely when I picked thrugh my losses I found 20 plus seeds on my other kush strain after I bought hg and El n. I crossed Califlower with Himalayan blue diesel and interested in seeing what happens. I'll keep everybody posted peace..

Yea so do I. I left the males in the grow room the last time and the plants that are growing are all different. I can tell by just looking at their leaves. I think mixing the himalayan blue diesel with the califlower made the plants stronger this go. I'm curious tho wondering if I should mix the el nino and himalayan gold with the califlower and blue diesel? I don't know what do you think?

284140The two talle plants on the right are himalayan blue diesel the one in the bac is El Nino. Just put nutes in today for first time. The other little plants are just growing slowly. I have two aerogardens and I have ten plants indoor growing and three outdoors. THe nutes are a 20-20-20 combo but I diluted it greatly I purchased it from a farmer online two months ago he gave me no name for the product.

Hey,
Interesting grow, but you seem to be having some plant issues getting off the ground.
The main issue I can see with that aero-table is that the plants which are far behind in growth are very far away from the lights.
I would normally bring the smaller seedlings closer to the light and centre them under the light for maximum effect. The its best to keep all your plants the same height and width.
this way one or two plants wont take over the whole grow room and kill/stunt the others.
That black prop in the back seems to limit how low you can keep th lights. I would have that 1.5 inches away from the seedlings at the moment, but the height differences wont allow you, and you can't raise the plants or the roots will be damaged... Catch 22 I think...

Yea you're right! But i'm slowly figuring out things like what you said because my knowledge is growing rapidly. At first I would put auto strains with sativas and regular indicas. But now I'm not mixing up my aerogrden just to see who survives lol! I didn't realize there is so much to growing but I'm learning as I go. In the future my grows will be alot better and organized. Because I have the confidence and alot more know how to address alot of the problems I had with this grow and the last two grows. I'm now on my fourth grow got four autos growing and four more I'm waiting to pop. I'm already drawing designs for a bigger grow medium in the future when I'm sure about my skills in the future thanks for the input tho S.L. stay cool and thanks for dropping in.

No worries :)
Keep up the good work ! I'll be stopping by from time to time. I'm also interested in those aero tables.
I prefer the soil and a tent method myself, easy to control everything instead of controlling for a large room, bigger spaces = bigger equipment :)

I like the tent setup also they sell pretty cheap on ebay I been looking them up for a little bit. But I'm also liking the outdoor growing deal too I'm getting into it cause I got a green card. Before I had one I was solely interested in indoor grow mediums. But to be frank I'll be glad when it's legal all around the globe. I find growing it is a good medium for mediation. The plants change so much and require so much attention as they grow it makes me mediate on it throughout the day. I think growers should tell congress the benefits of growing plants from a personal experience. In America not everyone grows plants I think it should be looked into to alleviate stress.

Yeah, I have a few (lot) of outdoor this year ! :)
I don't think I would even have to bother to grow indoors again for the rest of the year if this works out ! I hope mould etc don't ruin my crops...
It's a good idea to make the best of the summer weather... 10 - 20 plants in a good summer would fix you up for the entire year... But be sure to be very careful...
So how is the grow coming on ? My second grow is booming now... Had an issue with one plant but all is good. Harvest will be in 50 days or so... Cant wait !! :)

The grows are going well! I just popped five seedlings and put em in pods today. My three plants outdoors haven't showed sex yet and its been two months for two them and three months for
one of them. So I'm pulling for females.
The weather is extremely hot! How is it where you are? Cause it's been in three digits the last couple of days here. What strains are you growing? How much would you yield with what you're
growing?
I hope my two himalayan gold are females and I yield half a pound from both or more. I hope the el nino is female and yields about the same. When I reread your post I noticed it's formatted
similar to college writing.
So I decided to do mine like yours lol. I just started a new class today english composition 2 and having to learn more about apa format and scholarly researching. I just finished this big report
last week on open source now I have to submit another report in two weeks! Anyway your writing style made me think of all this stuff I'm learning. So I might as well incorporate it in my
personal life. I will search your name to see your grow if you posted it on this forum. I'm really interested in your yield and how to maintain a grow at your level.

It looks like your pots are too small for your plant, if they are rootbound you will lose yeild
FatherJack
10-08-2012, 12:42 PM
I agree... pots are WAY too small. Should have put them into much larger ones before they went into flower. My ladies are in 5 gallon buckets. You might try repotting them now but you'll risk making them hermie.
Derrail32
10-29-2012, 07:26 AM
Thanks for the info guys I'll implement your advice next grow. I did wonder if my pots were to small! I had to harvest early due to weather. A friend thinks I got 3 oz from el nino and two from himalayan gold. I sampled the el nino its very inspirational bud. I wrote a few songs 20 mins after smoking a blunt! I couldn't believe the high pretty incredible...
