Long enough to prove residency.. You can be a partial resident and still get your mmc. As long as you have a Colorado ID card of some sort. And of course a doctors recommendation and SS card. Look into going to a local Dispensary and talking to a doctor. I believe White Mountain Medicine has a doctor available this coming Sunday. Well.. if you are in the Colorado Springs area.. lol.
