Any way to rescue my buds!!!! (is this mold on trichomes? PICS)

So I had noticed that the bud I just bought and kept in an air tight glass jar seemed more frosted than usual, until last time where I took a closer look and saw the trichs too big and white for it to be normal. I think it's mold . I hate it when people sell bud that's not properly dried!!!!!! I also shaked the buds in the jar and some dust came out, spores I pressume. So I took the buds and placed them in a piece of paper folded in half and then placed that in a brown paper bag next to a window.... I couldn't resist it and vaped a little bit (I had been vaporizing it anyway) no discomfort expet for maybe a little flem forming. I know you will all say moldy bud is a risky thing, but does anyone know anyone who has had a serious (or any) lung infection from smoking/vaporizing moudly bud?

Is there any way the mold will dry out, (if that's what it is?) if I leave them out long enough?

Is there a better/faster way to dry them out?

If not, is there any other way I can salvage my buds!?

you could just tell whoever you got it from its moldy?

That is some real odd looking mold if thats what it is. You could try spraying the buds with hydrogen peroxide and then letting them dry out.

Yeah it seems to like the trichs specialy, but that's a great technique, I'll try that out if no one comes up witha better solution. thanks!

I agree, Ive never seen bud mold that just attacks the trichs.... One way to find out!

Its possible this is a strain crossed with white widow. If you know someone with a microscope, put one of those buds under it and take a look.

mmm, nah, it didnt use to look like this. I put the buds on a papaer towel next to a window, on monday they will have been there for a week, we'll see how it looks then.

If it was mold it would be growing really fast. Within a week your bud would be covered with mold if thats what it is.

Normally, if looking for mold, I'd expect to see it begin on the stem-cut.

I suppose it could be powder mildew but I've never seen it go after just the trichs.
