No cool dark place to hang bud?

Hey. Ok, I've got one plant that's going to be harvested tomorrow, but her other two sisters are still behind. I don't have anywhere I can hang this bud (it's medium sized, not too big) that's cool and dark. My closet is on 13 hours (they're autoflower) a day and it's fairly warm. Can I hang her up in there without doing damage or should I put her in my drawer or something? I wasn't expecting her to grow so fast! :)
Another question: I've heard that you can dry small buds faster by putting them in an envelope and putting them on top of the ballast...this isn't a fire hazard is it? Yes, I worry bout stuff lika dis. Thanks!

I would try to use one of the box drying methods that is described in some of Jorges books. Basically run string across the box and hang it in there. You can keep opening the box to let the humidity out. I dont put anything on my ballast... I guess Im kinda paranoid too but I met this guy once with his dogs tattooed on his forearm and asked him about it. He said his grow burnt his house down killing his dogs.... F'ing not worth it.
