I am confused. I thought that you were able to purchase immediately after mailing in your application, that you got a 30 day temporary card or something? I am researching as much as I can but would appreciate if you could clarify.

If it's a new card and not a renewal, the health dept* gives you 35 days to use the paperwork onhand until they send you a red card...which is currently taking about 6-8 weeks. I'm of the opinion to always tell them* it's a new since there doesn't seem to be any penalty for doing so.

Cornbread, we are not attorneys but we would advise you not to do that or to tell other people that. That is fraud. Are you aware of the people who have found themselves before an administrative law judge just this week because their applications were deemed fraudulent? These are actually innocent people who fell into the Physician Assistant fiasco with Well Docs. Anyone found deliberately trying to "trick" the system will not be treated well. Just complete the application as you're supposed to and don't tell others to break the law. We're trying to provide ea service, not turn patients into criminals in an attempt to access medicine quicker.

You're probably right. However, this area seems unclear so it should at least be addressed. Since I'm not a huge health dept. fan, I would naturally take advantage of it, myself. Since you are a dealer, you would naturally be very cautious about blowing your nose.

Achoo! Pardon me. Yes, you are correct. We look both ways before crossing the street, or blowing our nose, or doing anything!

I started this thread hoping to start a conversation about strains and Denver Relief but I guess others have otherbetter things to talk about, even Denver Relief people, oh well ive heard of other places just as good as DR

We're thrilled you started this thread and we appreciate your kind words, dmngzckynd! Ultimate '91 and Bio-Jesus are my personal faves on our shelf. I'm not a huge Sativa fan, but I've really been enjoying the Super Lemon Haze, the Sour D and the Durban. We just pulled down all of our OGs - LA, Valley and Reserva Privada. They're special to us as we grow those for the love of the plant. Super small yields, but oh so good!

hows the rectangle? I have heard good things about this particular strain and want to try it. Have also been meaning to come in and see the shop, but just haven't made the time yet. Thinking I should probably make the time and see what Denver Relief is all about.

Yep I am bummed that MMAPA is gone, that was a big help to me. I am still undecided what to do.

We will continue to honor the MMAPA discount even though the organization no longer exists. Was looking back at our very first meeting minutes the other day. These are from May, 2009. This was before MMAPA, HB1284, The MMED and the Colorado Medical Marijuana code even existed!
They say, "Denver Relief will have an indigent patient program."
