Best way to dry cannabis and keep its potent smell

Hi I was just wondering if anyone has a better way of drying and trimming there bud or is my way just fine, I want to keep it looking frosty and keep its potent fruity smell as opposed to it smelling fresh after being dried!

I trim mine while wet and then hang it on a wire in a pitch black warm room with a fan on its lowest setting and slowly rotating!

Can any one give me any tips or tell me how they do it and what sort of results they get?
