Ive got 5 aprox 2 week old seedlings that have taken off well under a 2ft 4 bulb t5 fixture. Yesterday I set up my 400W MH in a cool tube and placed it aprox 12-16 inches away from the plants. I had a little bout with heat for a few hours that I fixed quickly, temps got and stayed around 83-87 for around 5 hours before I realized/permanently fixed the problem.

After 24 hours the two biggest seedlings look very droopy. Two of the smaller ones their top leaves are slightly curled up with a very slight yellowing on the edges. These plants were 1000% beautifully healthy until today.

Was it the excessive heat? Do I have the MH too close too soon? Im regreting not leaving the T5 in for another week or two because the plants were flourishing under them.

Any help is appreciated.

The heat and MH being so close was probably a bit too much for them. Probably best to keep them under the T5's until they're a little more established. How big are the seedlings now? Got any pics?

I do have some pics. Not great ones because they are from my phone. I watered them when I got home today. They hadn't been watered in 1 1/2-2 days. Did the finger test and felt no moisture so Im pretty sure not overwatered..... ?

They'll be ok. They'll bounce back in no time. Just don't water too much and stick with the T5's for a bit until they're looking perky again.
