View Full Version : First Grow. Feminized White Widow and Madness Pyramid Seeds from Attitude Seedbank.
Hello!
I have always loved the idea of growing in general, it calms me and makes me feel closer to earth.
I purchased feminized seeds from The Attitude seed bank. I decided to germinate two seeds, White Widow and a Madness
The grow room is 4 feet x 3 feet, which is completely covered in mylar. I bought the CFL lights from HTGSUPPLY on EBAY.
A 3-pack 35 watt 2700K ( 7,200 lumens)
A 4 ft 2 tube T5 6500 K (10,000 lumens)
I bought FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil and the FoxFarm Nutrient set and a PH balance set as well.
It has now been 4 days since the seed popped out of the soil. Here are some of the pics:
Note: The dark green seedling that is slightly bigger is the WW and the light green seedling is the Madness.

Here is the daily update. The plants are getting bigger and are growing faster.
The Madness plant is starting to smell like pot. It's pretty faint and its hard to determine what kind of hints it is, yet! I received this seed from The Attitude Seed bank for free as a UFO. It's growth rate has definitely accelerated and has actually overgrown the White Widow that was bigger during the first couple of days.
The Sativa phenotype is definitely prominent, at least by the looks of it.

The White Widow is growing steadily too but not as fast as the Madness. One of the second sets of of leaves looks a little weird, if you look closer you can see that the side leaf is attached to the main leaf but the 3rd sets for leaves looks like they're normal. I bought this seed and I have been on other chat rooms to compare the phenotype. It definitely has a prominent look of Indica. It still doesn't have any smell to it. According to the site, this plant is supposed to stink up the place once it mature and flowers.

The plants are growing steadily. I have only been watering with PH:ed water once every three days when the soil gets dried up.
My question is; When should I plan to re-pot?
Thanks

I think that I'm going to replant this weekend. I'm going for 3 gallon pots to start with to see how big they cant get. I don't want them too be too big since I don't have enough light power.
I decided to re-pot the plants into a 1 gallon pots. I used the same soil, FFOF and used a 1/3 of perlite mix in there.
This morning when I went to the grow room I noticed some heat stress spots on Madness. I think it happened because I sprayed water on the leaves and the light magnified and bleached the second sets of leaves. I don't think it's going to be a problem and hope that it didn't stunt the plant. The new shoots look great, not spots what so ever.
Two of of my flowering lights burned out as well so I decided that I'm going to invest in a new light system, probably a 4 ft 6 bulb system with 30,000 lumens.

Luckily, nothing happened to the WW.
I'm now hoping that their grow rate start to increase.

I can't believe that I made the same mistake to leave a couple of sprinkles of water on the leaves, there are some damage on the new sprouts. But the damage is very minimal. I usually mist the plants and let them dry before i put them under the T5 light but somehow I must have missed to wipe them.
I think it's time to buy a small fan, which will help cool and dry any water left on the leaves, I might as well since I've ordered a new light system from HTG Supply!
