Just wanted some opinions really as I have just moved my White Widow down into a small cabinet as I was flowing in the Attic (way to cold). The plant is a couple of weeks into flower, and it was been topped through its Veg state quite a bit to keep it squat. I also removed all the lower growth through the veg state in order to concentrate the growth higher up.
My question really is that I have VERY limited growth height, so I have tied the canopy open (as you can see in the picture) in order to fit her in the space.
This will mean that I will constantly have to trim/tie down as I go. Does anyone envisage any issues with me doing this, from a shock point of view. She's been really healthy right through the grow using Bio Bizz nutes.

you dont have enough headroom. remember that when you initiate flowering your plant will stretch alot. by the time you harvest it will be twice the height as when you switched to 12/12. this is only a general rule. my experience with white widow is that she stretches quite a bit more. i would find a larger cabinet/dresser.

Many thanks for your opinion. Ok, I agree that it's certainly going to stretch, and it is doing. I am trimming leaves every day that are blocking light from reaching bud sites.I am governed by the height and have nowhere else to complete the grow, so I will have to "train" the buds to fill the area that I have, ie horizontally...... cant see it being a problem though. Does anyone else trim leaves throughout the flowering cycle.??:)

Just a bit of an update really. Flowering is going well, although as expected, I am having to remove foliage daily and adjust the LST wires to keep the buds from hitting the lights. All in all, well on track.

Since cutting the nitrogen intake right down and introducing the "Top Max", she's really making good progress and the buds are starting to swell nicely.Been watering from the bottom too, which she really seems to thrive on.

Lookin good. Have you found anything a little taller to put her in. How much has she stretched since the start of flower?
