Grow Room Setup, Will this be Good or not?

I have a 1000 w MH(free) I was thinking of using either a full spectrum agro bulb, or a cool bulb for veg. and a warm bulb for flowering; both will fit the correct spectrum parameters.

The grow box I'm building will be around (6'w x 6' l x 8' t); mylar coated, I will be investing in some type of ventilation (suggestions please), I was thinking of using yeast to produce CO2 for each plant. I was going to do 4 plants (still a misdeamenor where I live in shit goes south), of some premo shit.

questions and suggestions please; on any aspect of the bulid.


Also follow up questions:

1. Can I keep the same plants and go back into veg after flowering, i know it will mutate a little but if I'm patient will it work, will yeild be less or what?

2. What kind of heat will I be producing with one 1000 w Mh bulb?

3. I plan to veg for a long time, maybe 8 weeks+, I want big girls, what yeild could I expect?

4. What ferts are best, and can I incorporate them into an automatic watering system?

5. What strains of seeds should I get, looking for low price and high yield, but still good quality?

6. How much smell will I get from four big gils, do I need an ozone machine or not?

7. For germenation and seedling should I use a fluro or just jack the 1000 w up real high?

I need some time to setup I want it to be perfect, I am in the aquarium industry and I know from previous exp. with aquariums that if you do it right the first time, things will go alot smoother, and it is usually cheaper if you do it right the first time and don't have to keep fixing things.

You would be better off taking clones I think.

MASSIVE HEAT!!!! You will need at least 2 250cfm exhaust fans and plenty of intake to keep the temp in the 70's.

Well if you grow em and they get all stemmy, you wont get much. Let em veg 8 weeks and if they are nice bushy plants with lots of secondary growth, you can get a lot....pounds if you grow trees like Zandor,,,,or at least 6 OZ a plant.

I intend on getting 6 oz. per plant on mine.


4. What ferts are best, and can I incorporate them into an automatic watering system?

Matter of opinion of ferts...no auto water system...you need to control it.


5. What strains of seeds should I get, looking for low price and high yield, but still good quality?

DO regualr fat pot seeds for your first grow. GO ahead and order some good ones, but grow the regular seeds first...get one under the experience column.


6. How much smell will I get from four big gils, do I need an ozone machine or not?

They should smell a lot. A charcoal activated filter covering your exhaust will work as well.

7. For germenation and seedling should I use a fluro or just jack the 1000 w up real high?

1000W way too much for babies and seedlings. I would wait 2 - 3 weeks before putting them under that much light.
