How do I clean my pipe?

My weed is starting to be really harsh on the throat when I have it through my pipe, and all my friends say it's because I need to clean it. so, how would I go about doing that, is there some particular chemical or something? it's a double chamber metal pipe.

the best thing i have heard of is like 80% or higher rubbing alcohol, just set your pipe in a tub, and totally submerge the thing in rubbing alcohol, or just the chanbers or the stem, whetever suits you. aftercsome time flys by, it should eat away the resin/nastyness... im not totally sure it works but i have had hundreds of people tell it works the best(well not that many people). then to sterilze it, fill it with boiling or very hot water, but if your cleaning a glass pipe, and its still hot from the boiling water, dont pour cold water on it or put it in the fridge/freezer to cool it down, it could crack, just let it cool at room temperature till its not warm anymore.

get a glass pipe dude....but just scrape your pipe and smoke the resin cus it gets you high or boil it but im not sure if boiling works with metal pipes but anyways about the resin dont smoke it if you dont want to cus some people dont like it.

I had a pipe that sounds similar to yours. I used to use those little plastic caps that you get with cold medicine and put fingernail polish remover in them. Break down the pipe and let in soak in there for a few minutes then the stuff comes right of with paper towels and some q-tipâ??s. I always washed my pipe with soap and water after that because it makes your pipe all stinkyâ?¦.stinky but clean.

Yeah first thing get a glass pipe, especially if you are hitting harsh. Alcohol is choice for cleaning... all it takes is a soak (illustrated: search for thread "females perspective cleaning one hitters").

Try that formula 420. They make separate formulas for glass/metal and acrylic pipes. It cleans them like new. I got mine from a local shop that sells pipes. I think about $7
