Hi I just recently been diagnosed with spinal degeneration disease, and was curious if I would be able to travel to Cali or some other medical state, stay say two weeks get a recommendation try medical while in town. Just because I would be interested in relocating if medical it helped, other than just hoping by moving there it would. Anything to avoid the scripts of painkillers and epidural shots I am taking constantly now.

I've had lots of those epidurals and would recommend you stop them asap! :jointsmile:The long term health problem is not worth it. I have managed to use mmj instead of all conventional medication, with the exception of nsiads and would highly recommend you move to a mmj state, if that is feasible.

:thumbsup:Or, closet growing! If you come out here, the only problem I see is getting past the I.D. phase as a resident. Perhaps, you can get or have a passport and then tell the clinic you do not drive due to illness. You Just moved to the state and bring your medical records with you. You have a right to have your medical records copied for your own personal use and bring them. You really don't need them anymore, but you want the 'ball in your court' so to speak.

Not sure which part of State you'd land in. Would suggest one for you, or go looking into posts in South Calif and find a link to one. Call them first and set things up. Simply say you are moving here. Check in a motel and say you need your meds and that is your address while house hunting?

You can carry up to 8 oz in this state. AZ will allow you to carry your CA req and pass thru. It may not be worth the risk. Make sure you obey all laws and for Goodness sake, make sure you are driving a currently registered vehicle.

At the end of a MAPP newsletter is the phone # of Lanny Swerdlow. You can email or phone him. He runs a clinic here. Hope this helps.

:thumbsup:I'd simply move here to get your meds on a regular basis! Or to a nearby mmj state from wherever you are. The medicinal quality is awesome and you can toss out a bunch of conventional medication and enjoy your mmj and better health! I did! :rasta: But, I've been here all my life! :cool:pr

oh, and welcome to the forum

Thank you for the suggestion and concerns, looks as if a trip to Cali is a idea worth looking into then.
