Please help if you can need help with Salvia drug test info?

I haven't smoked weed in 6 months due to going to a pain clinic. Well i slipped and smoke one blunt by myself and its the first and only time that i have smoked the pasted 6 months. Well I ended up getting a swab salvia test exactly 7 days later by the Dr. That is sent to a lab. I am so disappointed in myself for making such a dumb mistake. ( Didn't expect the test but no excuse) I LOVE to smoke but have to have my meds due to a back disease I was born with. So my question is do you think I will pass the test with a seven day period between the blunt and the test. I have searched the net for days and have seen that THC usually shows up between the min. of 12 hrs and a max. of 3 days. I have also read that THC is one of the most difficult drugs to show up in a swab test. The thing that really worries me is the test is sent to a lab and not on-site. So that makes me believe that it may show up longer since it is tested in a lab. So any good info or past exp. with this type of test would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks so much Jody

Oral swab testing technology is essentially the same, whether its onsite or at the lab.

Hi Jody, you should have no problem passing your test. As you mentioned the THC metabolites only stay a few days in the saliva, so 7 days is plenty of time to be sure you will pass.
