Hello all, First off, great site....very informative!
But anyway, has anyone here ever heard of using a natural gas/propane water heater to supply your grow room with co2?
I realize that you would have to regulate the amounts, but is there any info on this procedure? or pros/cons?
thanks in advance....

I just think it's too dangerous since propane is highly flammable. On top of that, it's colorless and odorless in normal room temperatures. It's risky enough letting it out in a normal household and the risks go up higher with your lifestyle, assuming that you're into smoking and will probably use torches and lighters. So I would suggest not to use it.

Hey woody, hows it going? I had my grow room in the same room as my hot water heater before, It will produce good results. Although I only grew in there in the winter. It helped heat my grow room and gave me some co2. Very hard to control temps and humidity in the summer thought. Moved up a little since then. Hope this helps.
