HEY guyz ive not been on here for a while,,, just been doin this and that.

done a few more grows though that turned out really nyc

had gread advice and tips from well respected growers from these forums,,thanx to u all

dutch pimp, gagrown, cangroit, backwoodrifter, and many others have helped me along the way

anyway this is what i have goin on at the moment,, as u all probly figured out i like my cheeses

so i started with 6 blue cheese seeds,, they germinated no problem, after being planted they sprouted in 4 days, 2 days later first set of leaves apeared NYC.
after 3 weeks i replant them into 10ltr pots under 600wt hps/mh lamp with reflector in allmix plant magic soil, i switched the lights from 18/6 to 12/12 after another 5 weeks.....so the 18/6 veg period was 8 weeks nyc and bushy plants..

wow did theese girls grow or did they grow...i thought all cheese grew the same but now i know diff seeds grow in diff ways because i do everything the way i do all my grows same systemall the time..lucky i had somewhere else to keepem or they wouldve had to get chopped..
any way im on week 5 and 4 days i plant to change the 600wt to 1000 wt on week 6,,dont know why just an experiment i guess
should i change to 1000wt or stick with 600wt

6 blue cheese seeds
plant magic all mix soil
veg 8 weeks in 10 ltr pots
feed used bio biz bio grow bio bloom water water feed followed feed chart for feeding
600wt hps/mh lamp with reflecter
temp reaches 26
ph 6.7
carbon filter with extractor fan and ducting
2 oscilating fans

here are a few pics how do they look

You need a bottle wine with that cheese? Lookin' shweet! A 600 is more efficient than the 1000. But the 1000 has it's advantages, too! Dense and Dankness! If you can keep the heat at bay... Then the 1000 would be the thing. A dimmable ballast would save ya some Cash,by not having to purchase other lamps/bulbs.

oh and bye the way a happy new year to every 1 all the best and happy growin in 2012..
hope this year brings every1 nyc big colas..

happy new year GaGrown
hope u had a gud1 m8,, the thing is im using the 600 and i was given the 1000wt lamp free from a gud friend so i thouhgt i would put it to use, i think i shoud be able to keep the temp at 28-29

If you can keep that heat situated, like using an enclosed fixture for sure. I run a 1000 watt in a very small space. Lights on,temps run 76-78 degrees F. Lights off.. 68-74 degrees F. I'd use it!

Happy New And a prosperous venture!

They look pretty damn good. keep up the good work!

Flush tip: right before harvest, flush until runoff is completely clear. Usually 2-3 times as much water as the volume of your plant container (5gal container=10-15 gal water).
Allow the medium to dry out really well for a few days, then repeat the process (more water on the last flush is always better). Allow the soil/medium to dry out completely before harvesting.
This has been tried and tested many times with excellent results. If you try this, feel free to post results for others to see.

Hope this helps...

so should i just feed right to the end and flush twice,,,,,, or stop feeding the last week and flush twice

In the last 7 to 10 days is when I do the flush, water only. the flush process starts at the beginning of the last week (first flush). after the first flush allow soil to totally dry for 3-4 days or until the plant needs water again, then do a second flush. 3-4 days later when the soil is totally dry, and the plants begins to droop a little cut em.

glad i could help.
feel free to let me know how it all turns out taste wise. there should be no nute taste.

thanks rob,,, i dont usually get nute taste anyway...

ive sat with a few friends and smoked a few diff cheezzeess but ive noticed wierd tastes and harshness straight away ive thought to myself thats not flushed right,,

its just lazyness and stupidity another 10 to 14 days flushed properly and dried properly it would be really nice...

on the packet it said the seeds are 8 weekers but when i spoke to them on the phone they said 8 to 12 weeks,, so is it really up to the grower when to harvest and looking at mine do they look as if they will be ready in 3 weeks...

hard to tell when they are that far out. When I am growing an unfamiliar strain I grow it until buds stop swelling and trichs are right. I do tend to let mine go a little longer, but it is always worth the effort.

It's actually from a reggy bag just practicing for my first plqnt..I've been watering every day.. and giving it nutes about twice a week..right nw using miracle grow..didn't use it during seeding and sprouting phase tho..I put it threw drought for about two days than when i watered it i..it shot up like two inches...any advice would be greqt... what are the chances of it being female?. Since it reggy seed does that mean its fertalized and will flower??..and what is a good amount to water them.. and big should it be before I put it on 12/12 for flowering???.....if u can speak from ur experiances would be gre:thumbsup:at thnks

i really dont know m8

but the little advise i can give u is ,,, ive got to know the strain i grow and i know what it wants and when,, if uve been watering everyday maybe to much watering is ur problem let her tel u when she needs watwer as over watering can stress .. thats jus what i think i give 1ltr watering in 10 ltr pots when the need watering.. water water feed sometimes it can be 2 to 3 days before watering..diffrent stages diffrent watering.. as im into week 6 of flowering shes been getting really thirsty... ive doubled the feed and shes loving it but i need to make sure i dont over feed but i cant see nute burn so i think im ok... remeber im still learnin all advise is better for me u cant learn enuff.. peace out

What was the weight of the harvest?

Indeed a nice lookin grow bro! I'm very interested in what your yield was. If you could calculate and get it down to a tee with pot size, plant height/area, colas per plant I'd appreciate it and I'm sure some others would. I've got an indoor set up going myself and I'm trying to guesstimate a yield on a pretty bulky, roughly 3 1/2 ft beauty I have almost two weeks back on flower cycle. She's got some NICE growth from every node from the bottom on up and they're thick branches. I kno theyres no definite answer for MY yield. But my grow is similar so I think it can give me some ideas. Once again, nice grow....

If you would have taken a couple of clones from each at the beginning, keep them veging, now you know which you'd like for your strain, after your testing
