I watched the documentary "A NORML Life" yesterday.... Thought it was really inspiring.... The most important fact that we can pass on to "non-cannabis users" is that cannabis legalization isn't about letting people get high.... It's about freedom.... The freedom to plant any seed given to us on this Earth....

I also recently saw another one called "Food INC".... And WOW!!! I really really recommend everyone watch it too.... It documents the small number of highly powerful and profitable companies that run the food industry.... What is revealed is insane to watch.... Did you know Monsanto owns the rights to soybeans??? Well 99% of soybeans.... They're still trying to stomp out the farmers that save their own seeds.... After watching this documentary, I've changed the way I see the market I shop in.... I'm motivated now, more than ever, to look into organic farming.... Feeding the immediate community is the safest and healthiest way....not factory style food processing plants that ship possibly tainted products around the world....

"The Secret" is also an awesome documentary.... I've always lived by those principles on my own....and felt utter joy when hearing what I've known all along.... My wife was awestruck when she watched it because a lot of what was said, I've been telling her for a long time.... Think about what you want....ask for it....believe you can get it (with all your heart)....and you will receive.... But you can't just ask....you have to believe....

Another that I recommend is "Mind the Gap"....saw it on you tube.... And another on you tube called "Documentary on how the media lies to manipulate us".... <----I'll never look at TV the same again....

Anyone know of any other good ones they would recommend???

"The Secret" is actually based on the philosphies of L Ron Hubbard. Think And Grow Rich, the father of Scientology. Thinking positive is an important aspect of living but it can go too far and can obscure reality. I think when life gets too easy we whither and die. We need to be challenged.

I agree.... Positive thinking can obscure reality if the desiree does not act so as to bring the thought to reality....

If someone wants to be whatever it is they want to be....they can be just that....but....they have to work toward it.... They have to act, in support of, in a way that will allow them to reach what it is that they want.... The opportunity will present itself....the challenge is to recognize it and take action.... Because if your thoughts only stay in your mind....they'll never become reality....

Personally....I think most people are afraid to let the universe be in control.... Like when a new opportunity presents itself, most people are skeptical about taking a leap of faith and being positive about the outcome.... I know where I see myself and things have been lining up for me since my teenage years just the way I've wanted them to.... So then why did I say that I let the universe control??? Because the universe makes it possible for me to choose, therefore I'm not in control....I simply have to act in accordance to get what I ask for....

Like the old sayings go, "That's what you get" and "That's what you asked for".... We usually attribute these sayings to people who experience negative outcomes of their actions.... But.... Imagine how powerful these sayings would be if we used them toward positive unbelievable outcomes???

Get on NetFlix and look up the 60 minutes documentary of I believe "Marijuana USA". They actually talk POSITIVE about the legalization of cannabis and the use of it to start a whole new industry. Making thousands of dollars for our economy. I loved it! That pushed me to grow.. In all honesty

I know this is quite cliche on a cannabis message board but I strongly recommend the new Bob Marley documentary, 'Marley'. My girl and I watch countless documentaries and this one has hands down blown me away. I dare anyone to watch it and not be inspired but how this man lived his life.
