I am looking for a strain that will help with nerve pain and pain from spasm,Want my body to feel like it has just melted away, so like a real strong body, physical high.yet i dont want to feel burned out and lazy, i want a clear mind and energy to make it throught the day.i dont mind the couchlock at night it helps me sleep. But i need the same effects for the day with a clear and energetic high. Thank you

everytime I help with the most obvious of questions I say this is the last time, well here we go again. This is from the Marijuana Strain section right from the main forum index, cmon people lets use some of our own time to hit the search button. http://boards.cannabis.com/medical-strains/102691-specific-med-strains-specific-uses-nice-list.html

It's hard to know from some descriptions, for me it's been a journey of discovery.
It's a tough job but someone has to smoke all these different kinds of pot.
I just ordered some seeds to try.
The first thing I found out is indica. A sativa makes me nervous and uncomfortable.
Some indica's get me going though, I find my self doing all sorts of jobs that's normally too tedious to stay with.
For an evening get high type of deal I'm trying a 80% indica/20% sativa. There are a lot of indica dominate hybrids.
Probably a lot of what is sold as indica is really a hybrid.
I had some indica seeds that I think were a true indica and this is what they looked like:
281095
They are so short, no height at all, just covering the top of the pot.
They finally got some height to them now.
I make brownies with shake we buy for my wife and my mom that they take to help them sleep through the night. 16g per batch, $60 a week brownie bill. I'll be glad when I actually harvest and get rid of that.
I'm going to try different indica seeds that claim to be a more body high to make brownies with.
I think just using buds to make brownies instead of shake may be a big improvement.
Sorry about rambling on...

Perhaps you would like to share what you have tried? And then we might share ours, if it is different! pr

Your best bet is to grow a variety of strains to suit the variety of times you will be using cannabis.
We carry some indicas that are great for pain and spasms, but aren't suitalbe for daytime use. We have others that are effective but are good for daytime use.
Having the knockout strain (OG strains) is great for nighttime or when your relaxing, but you need to have the option of something else.
We'd recommend finding a reputable seed bank and taking the time to find good phenotypes (picking 1-2 winners! from 20 seeds or more) - Colorado has some great companies that sell in the centers here - Rare Dankness - they took some awards this year at the Amsterdam Cannabis Cup.

here are some of the strains i have tried last season. I do mix em up with several strain.
Afgahn kush- very good for my condition, but after second or third dose it nocked me down for the day!
cole train-good mixed effects
la confindential- Good social plant
rocklock- like this plant, but seems seeds are always unavailable.
sour cream- ok
northern lights- favorite i grow every summer
lemon skunk- good for waking me up and peace of mind
sharks breath- ok
critical plus- was quite impressed with this one for relaxation and pain. good for evening and before bed.
those were mostly freebies i got from the attitude from ordering auto for indoors, i save them for spring and then buy several others to grow outdoors.
I like the afgan kush ryder for indoors as well as sweet seeds s.a.d. I have done many auto strains. There are quite a few that do help.but the good ole original seems to just pack a better punch when it comes to medical value.
