heres the thing about Ron Paul or any presidents their puppets nothign we need for the legalization, what we need is a peaceful movement that marches right up to the congress them selves and with the millions of marijuana users in the US, we make a difference but hate to tell ya a president isnt anything the corporations and congress run everything

We don't really need a president to end this prohibition. The people can do it if they want it bad enough. Ron Paul is not for everyone. I've been a follower of his for a long time but depending on how you feel about government programs, you may not like what he has to say. Contrary to mainstream media reports of him wanting to end social security and medicare, he really only wants these programs handed over to states to run or not run as they see fit. The 1oth Amendment covers this.
I think most liberals will like his stand on foreign affairs and wars. For liberals Dennis Kucinich is pretty close to Ron on a lot of issues.

I would be very reserved in voting for any president on one single issue! :wtf:Unless, the president is like the last Shrub and does what he/she wants to (war) it is pointless. The President has little power in the long run!
:thumbsup:Simple economics may end prohibition, if things get worse. :jointsmile:However, we are not waiting for that. We continue to fight for legalization in any way we can!
On the up side of all this: The elderly over 50 are the biggest buyers for mmj! According to several local collective and delivery people that I personally know! Maybe a geographical thing? Most services advertise more in 'retirement' communities, cause us "baby boomers" never needed a requisition for pot in the past. It is simply easier with the mmj req. now!
So if you are 18 to 50, you have others that have been on the movement for a long. . time. Plowing the snow before you! Just keep up the interest and do what you can for legalization.
Dennis Ku Who, I would never vote for him! Ron Paul may stand a better chance if he were independent. Many are now looking at that ticket to overcome our last few disappointments in our elected president! :rasta:pr

I like Ron Pauls stances on personal responsibility and letting individual states control what does and doesn't happen within their own borders. Also like that he would take a pay cut if he wins the presidency think he said $34,000 would be his salary instead of 2.5 million

I think the pres gets around $200K last I knew of it! But, the real problem is: Would his wife want to live in that neighborhood? Have you ever scene it. Not that long ago the highest murder rate per capita in Wash DC. :rasta:pr

I wish Ron Paul well...but, he's got a lot of baggage from the old days.
Who ever is in front?...the media teeth come out.
I don't know if I could handle another president from Texas? LBJ almost got me killed...:)

LBJ and Dr Paul aren't even in the same category. LBJ was one mean bastard.
It does get old having so many presidential candidates from Texas though.lol Must be all that oil money.

Ron Paul is going to have a tough time winning over Obama or the horrible repubs....

Ron will not be allowed to headline the GOP ticket. Romney is and always has been there boy, thats why Obama will be here for another long painful 4 years. Wouldn't really matter anyways. There really is no difference between Mitt and Obama. They're both war hawks, both want to inhibit your unalienable rights. Neither could care less about the poor or middle class.

I agree we will most likely have to deal with Obama for another painful 4years but hopefully ill be out of the us by then
