"We the citizens of Florida call upon the members of the Florida House and Florida Senate to sign a discharge petition to permit a floor debate on the Joint Resolutions for Medicinal Use of Cannabis (SJR 1028 and HJR 353)."

Joint Resolutions for Medicinal Use of Cannabis (SJR 1028 and HJR 353) have not been placed on the agenda for any of its committees It has been referred to.
It has been referred to the following (sub)committees in the Florida House of Representatives Criminal Justice Subcommittee, Health & Human Services Committee, Judiciary Committee. In the Florida Senate it has been referred to Health Regulation, Judiciary, Budget, Rules Committees.
A discharge petition would permit a floor debate bypassing the committees allowing the the Resolutions to be heard, debated, and voted on.
