A cooltube w/ 400w should cover it. No experience with them but have read good things.

ah bigsby
you came back with an answer within 5 min... record in my book.
you and me sort of had this talk before, but i thought i would refrase my question to see if anyone knows anything.
thanks for getting back to me. the cooltube,i have read somewhere takes 3-5% of light true reflector, but even worse its meant to have a very bad light spread.
I had thought about it though.

so...you already have your ballast/bulb/cords/socket?...only need a reflector?...how many watts?
If not, I recommend buying a complete package (ballast/bulb/cords/socket/reflector
The top of the line reflectors are expensive...$$$
Footprint is determined by watts of the bulb...not the reflector
400 watt = 3x3
600 watt = 4x4
1000 watt =5x5

I personally use a T5 4 bulb reflector for 4 plants and they are a stunning green and happy. My space is 2ft x 3ft & 6ft tall, and the fixture was only 100 bucks and included all 4 grow bulbs. Just something to think about ;)

You can fudge these numbers a bit with the right reflector. As you know Bod, I run 400w under an adjust-a-wing and cover 3' x 5' pretty easily. OK not easily but I cover it. I run a scrog. The edges of the screen handle the main colas and they do just fine. I just wish I had bought the large instead of the medium... Oh well. I'm happy enough. ;)
