Alright, I have been dabating about making an account for quite some time so I decided I would, just so this can be sticked and nobody will need to post again unless they don't take the time to read stickies...

admin edit this or I will once the correct information is given, then sticky

I was wondering which container is the best for storing weed

But which is a ture mason jar? I googled "mason jar" and got many different types of images, so im going
to post a few of them so we know which one to get, so people dont waste money and we will be positive its
air tight.
here we go.

I'm pretty sure when people say, "mason jar", they are talking about the clamp type.

Hope this helped.

I've used those clamp-type ones for my past 7 grows or so, and my current grow will NOT be placed into them this time 'round... I bought them at Ikea, and have always wondered if they're truly airtight enough for curing properly, since they're all I've really truly tested... My problem with them is not having complete control over how tight you can make the lid, and for that reason, I'll be getting a bunch of the regular ones this time to compare (the ones with the metal plate/rubber ring built in and separate lid). Once the bud has cured in the metal-thread type ones for a month or two, I may transfer it back to the Ikea clampers - for ease of access.... just my 2 c. Good luck!

O.K. so I like picture # 4 of first post! Cause it is cute!
Little tidbit: Lucille Ball is what the "Ball" is on the jar of 'Balls.' Surely, she had balls on her mind when she ran the company! True! lmao pr

I have trouble at times finding jars large enough, especially when it comes to mason jars of any type; overally, I prefer amber glass jars but they are even harder to aquire, so the majority of the time I use very well cleaned gallon pickle jars sealing the lid with electrical tape (at least for final storage).
