Hi all,
Just stopping by here since my other messageboard has been having server issues. There are many, many breeders that sell direct as well as distributors such as Attitude. Nirvana has good service etc, but I've heard a number of issues regarding their genetics being not so great.
Avoid companies that don't take plastic, or if you must send cash/money orders always use tracking. I just got burned by either a Canadian breeder or Canadian mail service...and I couldn't prove a damn thing b/c all I had was my credit card receipt for automated International postage.
There are a number of companies I would recommend...this is one:

I got some recently from the ad banner on this site. They got cheap seeds and they delivered them. I can't get thier white widow to grow out of 5 seeds only 1 busted it took like 2 weeks! It took like 2 more weeks for the round leaves to sprout from the dirt. The super silver haze and himalayan gold grew perfect though. I was experimenting with this grow next time I'll get some primo seeds from nirvana. I got my seeds 60 seeds for 60 dollars so it's no big deal. I saw some seeds on nirvana for 700 bucks for 5 ! I want some sfv kush ,og kush, purple weed, afghan kush for next time. Med grade shit.

Hey there! I recently purchased a book online, which it said it was the course book to a cannabis growing class in Cali. There's a lot of sorterent advertisements in the back of it with places to order from. Some show the thc and cbd content of the strains they carry, some just have pics. I chose serious seeds xxx, they supposedly sell cannabis cup winning strains. I ordered white Russian and another one I forgot. I would say it all depends on what strain you are looking for. I've also heard good things about dutchpassion.
Well happy growing!!

so i was gonna order some seeds, havent decided from where but i think i want to try northern lights or some sort of kush. funny thing happend. i bought a slice of some real nice dank. i was going through it and guess what i found, a seed. so that will be a good start because the seed comes from a nice diesel. so i am gonna germinate that and try out some other bag seeds that i got. the way i have germinated in the past was putting the seeds in a glass of water and then waiting. the seeds that germinate drop to the bottom and the root sprouts in a few days. after that i plant em and they die.....so please i have read all the stuff i can....i dont have a big budget, but i a great place to grow and some light fixtures. can someone tell me if i can germinate, put in a party cup for a week or two with light and just soil you can buy at the store before i go all out with more lights, fans, ventilation, and nutrition. i am sick of buying herb but i do not have a green thumb. to be honest i have only tried like twice and it was nothing..................peace and pot.

1. fresh seeds generally don't need to soak; and no seeds need to soak more than 12-24 hours, max.
2. good soil, in a 18oz party cup, seeds dropped in loose, shallow soil; barely covered
3. keep moist, at 80-85 degrees F.
4. good seeds will pop in 2-5 days

far as i know nirvana usually ranges from 17-50 dollars for ten seeds. some sites try to pass them of for $80 or more. yes they tend to cross with their own strains and sell them cheap, but nirvana has always been in my top ten. great for beginners who dont want to spend a paycheck on a strain. bubbelicious was a fave as well as white rhino.

When ordering seeds...don't get all hyper about freebies.
Most freebies; are hard to grow indoors, sativa/haze or somebody's failed hermie experiment.

I purchased 5 Femenized White Widows & 10 AK48 seeds from Nirvana. 9 out of 15 cracked. The only 2 WW's that cracked took two more weeks to grow up and show 1st set of leaves (not a pair they came in 3's).. The remaining 7 AK's grew faster than the WW's, but stopped at 2nd set of leaves and slowly started to loose its color. Anybody else been in this type of situation? I need some better seeds asap. Any help?

The tap root is very sensitive. Soakers shouldn't wait too long to put the seed in the grow medium..IMO

Great pics there Dutch!
just some helpful pics off the internet...(thats a little deeper, than I start seeds)
good seeds will start anywhere, but if the soil gets too wet, too dry, too compacted? ...game over!
