MiracleGrow 6-monh release is junk (for cannabis). I was lucky enough to make it through a couple of test-runs with it (barely), as many others will do too but it is a waste of time and especially a waste of money. Ever since switching to a soilless program, along with organic feedings, results have been more than amazing. The soil is PH balanced with lime at 6.4 and does not fluctuate at all, AMAZING stuff. I encourage those of you out there that are using MG soils to stop now. If you cannot stop, then flush before you use the soil to help try and get a steady PH. It will still cost about the same to switch to a soilless mix, even with having to buy nutes (Botanicare products are the best bang for their buck in my opinion) you will still spend about the same and results will blow your mind. This is only a suggestion to those of you using MG because I have much experience with the product. It does work great for gardens and flowers though lol. I just thought my 2cents may help some people out. Any questions, feel free to ask!!!!

I have to disagree with ya... Heres the thing about MG soil.. It's a no no for seedlings. But if you use it right? Then your on your way to a bountiful harvest..

Feeds for up to 6 months should be the sign! Thats the part you have to learn to control. Water/water/partial nutes.. Recipe for success! Pay attention to the plant... It knows best!

Bags of soil! There can be a big difference between bags of soil. Their quality control is shaky; no matter what the brand.

Ain't that the damn, truth! I bought a bag of MG from homedepot, and that was some of the HOTTEST nute content I've ever seen. Has'nt happened anymore. Been pretty consistant. I do like Rusty told me before.... Flush the new soil so you won't have that issue. Old Timer's secret to makin' it happen! You flush some of the nute out and will better sustain a plant without nute for awhile. I do it esspecially when revegging. You just cut all those roots and you sure don't wanna kill your future darlin's. Hell Dutch... You got me through a buncha situations and don't even know you helped! So........ Thank You!

I still ain't gonna give up on MG!

There's always gonna be problems when growing. It don't matter how long you have been farmer.

Set it and forget it...don't work

Bad seeds, bad soil, bad nutes, bad water, bad light, weak strains....etc.

At one point in time...For sure! All that will cause havoc! Bought or had all of that happen.. Won't be the first, nor the last..

Spin around 3 times,then..
Sing it with me! Signs,Signs,Everywhere signs!

I totally agree. Many of the bags of MG I used were different than the next. That is why I switched to a soil that is mixed and made right here at the local shop. This is by far the best change I've made and it's much easier to control than MG soil.

Like I said befor. I used to be a firm believer of MG soil but after I tried out the new soil and once I had control of what the plant feeds off of and how much, results have been 99% better and much faster. I now have no problems with PH fluctuation, as the MG soils fluctuate contantly, especially in flower. I honestly haven't had one problem since I switched. I know that many people are firm believers as well but I suggest you try without it just once.
