Hi all,
Posted a thread a couple of weeks ago about my first grow, and thought I'd post some pics up for review/criticisms etc.
Now into 3rd week of flowering, 11 weeks from seed.
Pics show Original canopy height, into cola development at 11 weeks. Trichomes look healthy. All on the bubble.
Plants were stretched intentionally to overcome outright bushy development. Closet is only 2 foot wide, but 6 feet long and 8 feet high, so I decided to take advantage of Widows propensity for stretch. Lower canopy was pruned about a week ago, upto about 8 inches from soil. (Comments??)
I know it's not preferable to stress during flowering but opinions were contradictory, across all the forums available. Some say prune, others say leave well alone.
Temps are difficult for a noob grower to deal with. I am no exception. All the advice in the world doesn't prepare you for the ordeal ahead, because whilst the parallels between growers are there, you're own growspace is unique.
By the way, if you're looking at a tight budget, prepare to go hungry. I had to install a tube heater to mitigate the effect of low nightime temps, the 5 inch extractor I installed only just tips the balance to 27c when using the 600w HPS, although, I do have a passive intake and not active.
And you're always looking at humidity, especially in flowering.
I know it's a long thread, thanks for taking the time to check it out.
Peace. XSWidow
