I haven't bought meds in a while, and might have have the money until January... Any reason that I should get into a shop in December? Are any new rules or regulations or laws going into effect soon?

cards drop to 35 in January. dept of health only seems to be approving apps signed by a doc who performed the exam (no pas or lpns) so you are better waiting.

I have recently talked DPH and they said if you are applying for fee/tax waiver after Dec the filing will change. If this applys to you and you qualify if not good info those who are.
Jan 1st you will have to show food stamps approval letter and a certified copy of your colorado taxes to apply for fee waivers. Right now they only require the food stamp approval letter.
This means for people who are on SS SSDI and SSI and dont normally have to file taxes will now have to pay to file state taxes to apply for waiver. Since the fee drops to 35 in January it would not make much sense to apply for it cause the tax filing will cost that much nullifying any savings minus the taxes you wont have pay for each transaction when you purchase meds.
I guess its their way of steering people away from the waiver so they can collect the 35 dollars from people who would file for the waiver. I dont mind paying my fair share of taxes since i get a tax break elsewhere. So i have decided to wait and reapply Jan 1st and not send in a fee/tax waiver.

I may have not been clear - I have a red card. I'm just talking about the retail experience at med shops.

Nothing is changing about the way the medical marijuana centers have been operating, at least nothing required by law.
The (hopefully) last batch of rules went into effect in July. We have been compliant since before then.
Those rules didn't change patient experience but had more to do with record keeping, etc.
