Hello everyone, i am setting up my wardrobe as my grow space and would like to find a light
that can be used for seedling > veg > flowering and all stages. I can supply as many bulbs
as i wish, but i don't know 1) where to buy a H.I.D / MH / HPS set up / which store to look in
2) How much lighting i will need i heard its 30-50 watt per sqr foot, my grow will be 5 feet wide
2 feet deep wardrobe, 2 plants. So im guessing 250 watt. THANK YOU :)
First grow very excited ^-^ 280701

You can grow start to finish with just about anything - MH, HPS, CFL, LED, etc. People swap bulbs b/c different bulbs provide optimal light for different stages of growth. You might consider a 250w Ceramic Metal Halide. It does very well for all stages.

You need to do your homework if you are are serious about this venture. Start by reading the threads in my signature. Then read anything / everything you can get your hands on. The stickies in these forums provide excellent reference. People here will help you buy you need to educate yourself on the basics. Good luck!

I am wondering about light vs space for a wardrobe also. It is two-sided each side being 19.5" x 22.5" making it ~3 sq ft. I am looking to put a 250w MH/HPS switchable light on one side for now but I'm wondering if that's too much for the space.

I figure I have 42" of height minus planter height. Any opinions on this setup?
