I was reading different opinions about this in another thread.
I was thinking more reflectivity the better, certainly true for light reflectors, but can the walls be too reflective?
My grow boxes are made of the radiant barrier OSB(waferboard). The stuff will blind you when you put it on a cart and wheel it out in the sun to your truck. But it's not as shiny as tin foil.
My box has it on 4 sides around the plants and it's sitting on it as well, so 5 out of 6 sides.
Plants seem to be doing good. Some of them have leaves pointing straight up facing the sides. So some of the lower leaves seem to be getting more light from the sides than the top.
What happens with too much reflectivity?
Thanks
