Acidity and alkalinity. Those are the two variables.

Got 20 bucks??? Make it easy on yourself and get the right stuff.... Each bottle costs less than 10 bucks and in most cases you only need one.... If you have a high pH water source, just get the pH down.... If you've added too much when fixing a dose for your plants, just add more water to get it back up.... Much easier to deal with....and the bottles last a long friggin time.... I still have a pH up that I bought 4 years ago....while I've gone through 3 of the pH down....

When it comes to cannabis growing - You get out of it, what you put into it....

I agree with CGI that getting pH Up/Down is totally worth having, especially if the pH from your tap water is always funky, but I've used vinegar and baking soda in a pinch and they will work.

Not bad at all, Ga! Lots of changes over the past couple of years have kept me away, but I'm trying to get back in the habit of dropping in and reminiscing with some friendly faces.

Hope you've been well!

correct, in my experience, they will not harm the plant or affect the quality or taste. I use ph up/down now and its much easyer, but same results.
