I read about this idea somewhere. It was shot down (ha ha ha) due to the large number of canisters it would take to be effective. Think about it. Those little cartridges ain't going to get you very far.

Idk, u might wanna make sure its aggricultural co2, like the stuff they use in pop and on plants and stuff. The other stuff is nasty and stinks :( I think its still safe for plants, but its stinky and low quality.

Bottled CO2 is just that, CO2.... I don't think their is more than one type of bottled CO2.... I think the stinky nasty stuff you're talking about is propane....
Agricultural CO2........

:D.... CO2 is CO2.... Yes it is a gas used for welding and it is used to carbonate fountain drinks....but it is not specifically formulated to do one and not the other....
Do you mean that the bottles of CO2 are different??? In that case, yes....

Results are best when used in a sealed space....otherwise you have CO2 leaking out....
Don't run CO2 if your grow space is also part of your living space....but that's just my :twocents:....

I don't know but I do know that if you aren't using it at the right temperatures that it will be minimally effective.

There really isn't a cheap alternative to a good CO2 kit....
If you want bigger thicker buds, either dish out the cash for a proper CO2 setup or get yourself a higher wattage grow lamp.... Small canisters of CO2 are not going to be effective at all....

The only reason I can see for doing this is if you are doing a sealed grow or if you have your grow dialed in to the ninth degree. If you are looking for efficiency gains more can be achieved by improving your techniques. Proper care and feeding will do wonders. Think of your first grow and where you are now.

Let's be sure to mention that using co2 will raise the temp in your space too.
