Of course! It does also depend on how many plants you want. You might wanna up the light to a 600 watt later when they get bigger, are they seedlings? I got three seedlings in a space similar of not smaller than that, there small still though. And I only plan on housing one mother plant in that space though. How big r u going to let them get?

yea i think im gonna start out with 6 seedlings just to make sure im gonna have 2 or 3 females , i just got this setup yesterday FOR FREE! haha yay , my friend brought it over and was like it dosent work but u can use parts from it , and what he dint know is he cant use 2 prong wires that he hooked up and dint even connect the ground wire too haha dummy , but anyways im not sure if im gonna have enough to get another balast for a 600watt because its only 250 , so 250 wouldnt be enough for 2 plants for full growth? and i have like 6 23watt CFL's should i put them in there too? this only my 2nd grow , my first grow was with cfls and i HATED it , not a big fan of cfls at alllll , i have my seedlings in a red cup right now waiting for them to sprout soo i will be posting here soon again , thanks for the help guys :)

250 watt HPS can flower 2-3 female plants very well. You can add the CFL's on the side...or not.
The strain will decide if it's enough light. (ex. White Widow indica strain, would work fine) (Sativa strains, not so good)
(don't start seedlings in large pot)
