Hi all, first time posting and a first time grow.
I have a 2' x 6.5' x 8' closet, with 8 Widow/Big bud under a 600w hps and my own ghetto extraction setup. All the plants were germed from seed on 5th October, and after 5 weeks (going into 6th week) are now at 21".
Feeding regime started at 2 weeks with half strength nutes, from seedling I used cannastart just to help with root development. And all seedlings were misted at start of night cycle. Seedlings were under humidity domes for first 5 days.
All plants were topped at 3rd to 4th node, and have responded positively to topping. All plants now receive 500/750 ml feed every 36-42 hours. And get flushed with clean room temp adjusted/PH adjusted H2O every 3rd feed.
Temps are good and stable at 25c light cycle and 23c night cycle. Recirc. Fan constantly running to areate the space, and extractor(5" inline - no silencer or filter yet)- working well to switch out closet airspace. At start of night cycle they are religiously misted again with H2O.
My question. Most forums for Widow growing suggest flipping at 6-8 weeks or 18" - 21" in height from soil surface. So, these girls are now at 6 weeks and 21" and show no signs of stopping this burst anytime soon.
Do I flip em or wait 7 - 10 days, And will it greatly affect the yield if they are flipped relatively early.
Still have plenty of latitude for raising the single 600W HPS, ditto the extractor. All things being equal what sort of growth can I expect in the next 8 weeks or so? Also would it be greatly beneficial to have another lower power light to drive the 8 plants and 90 cubic feet of room.
My thanks in advance for anyone prepared to offer up some good advice. It's my first grow and everything is on the bubble.
Peace. XSWidow.
