yes, i've used it for payment for mailed bud...ya don't want to do it often but it works fine. it'll work longer if you use paypal for other purchases, like ebay. easy to bury purchases when it gets used a lot...

it's especially good for proof of payment...

Although its good fro proof of payment, speaking on behalf of a seller, it is very unsecure as customers are able to do charge backs, when our web store first went online we used paypal and found atleast 75% of people whom made payment did charge backs, also since paypal requires your real information it is unsecure.

oh my yes...very easy to trace back. just assumed that was understood. and not a good deal for the seller who has to pay a percentage (like all money changers on the net do). but for a legal buyer, it's not a bad way to go...

i buy a lot of stuff thru ebay and have an account with paypal which is constantly used...which is why i feel no real concern using it as long as the seller doesn't mind. sellers too can get around paying the percentage by using the account to buy other stuff and thus passing on the surcharge.

I rember seeing this one link saying how bad paypal was like a website just about it or something. If anyone rembers that and has the link they should post it.
