hello just got my plant tonight from a friend. its a indica weed. the club said it is a clone from oaksterdam. friend forgot to ask how old the plant is...maybe some can give me an ideal of how old it is. i am running 4 14watt 6500k bulbs above it set for 16/8 hour. going to the store 2morw to get 2 warm bulbs for when i switch to the flower stage or could i just throw them in there right now?. have it sitting in an 8 inch pot with cactus and palms soil mix. i have Alaska fish fertilizer 5-1-1 have not added it yet but wondering when and how often i should. also when my friend gave me the plant it was in a green sponge like material bout 2 inch square. the roots were wrapped around it so i didnt want to try and pull them out so i put the whole thing in the soil. i hope that is ok. wondering how often to water it? iv read many different thing just want your guys opinion. well that about it. i will be updating in about a week. hope it goes well. any tips will be helpful. thanks guys

Is that really from clone? looks like a stretched seedling.
-Regardless, welcome and GL on your grow!

What are the dimensions on your grow area?
Dont worry about age until you flower it.

Whatever the sqft of your area, you want 3000L per sqft in veg. check the box for the lumens on the lights.
-Up the lights to 20/4 or 24/0.

Dont flower yet, it needs more growth = light.
-In flower youll need 5000L per sqft.

I would finish out vegging in that pot, then transplant and flower.
-No nutes until it shows light greening. then 1/2str of that fish fert.

alright. the box is 18 inches deep by 2.5 feet wide. as for height i can move that as the plant grows. its a shelf so i can have it 1 inch all the way to about 5 feet tall. im going to run the lights 20/4. didnt say i was going to flower it yet. sorry if it sounded like that. im going to keep the 4 6500k bulbs until i want to flower. then going to switch 2 bubls to lower probly warm colors. i will get a bigger pot to. could i use a long rectangle one?

well after day one seems to be going well. put some plain water in the soil after i got it. stuck finger in the soil tonight and it is still moist. im noticing the bottom 2 fan leave are dark green with the 1 or 2 tips point down and the top of the plant seems a healthy green. wondering if this is a problem? the temp in the room is 80. running 4 t5 22in 6500k bulbs roughly about 5 inches from plant. also how could i keep it humid in there? could i lightly spray the leaves with water?

being a first time grower i could be over reacting. but idk. i think it may be a lil shock from the transplant. the top looks healthy just the bottom 2 leaves look dark green

Looks healthy PB.
-Kinda stretched, is this how it looked when you got it?

It will take a few days to recover from a transplant.

*Just make sure you have a good wet dry cycle, proper lighting, and she should take off.
