Orchid Food?

So I picked up some orchid food the other day cause it was readily available at my local store, was cheap, and was 30-10-10 or so. Was going to use for my plants in the veg stage, but figured I would see if anyone had ever used it with success before. I have found a couple of posts saying don't use it and a few saying that it worked great. Wanted to see if I could get some additional input before moving forward (definitely don't want to hurt the little ones). Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks!

You should never smoke buds/plants grown with nutrients not made for human consumption like the one you bought(orchid food). It's not good for your health! And the plant wont taste the same.

This is why growers use hydroponics store bought nutrients.
