Its time people!
Time to get of our asses and do our part.
I'm doing my part and will be calling first thing in the morning!
How about you?

As you probably know, U.S. Department of Justice officials recently stepped up their nonsensical war on medical cannabis providers. At a press conference held Friday in Sacramento, four U.S. Attorneys announced a renewed effort to shutter California medical cannabis facilities by threatening their landlords with asset forfeiture and federal prison.
NCIA immediately responded to this development and was featured in national news coverage, including the Wall Street Journal, ABC News and the Associated Press.
We are deploying an aggressive public relations campaign in Washington, DC and California, at ground zero in the most recent round of federal assaults. NCIA is also working with other allied organizations on a unified action that will be announced shortly.
This year our industry has suffered outrageous and unfair IRS audits, denial of access to financial services, and now threats of asset forfeiture and prison. Despite promises made during his 2008 campaign and later by the administration in 2009, President Obama's record on medical cannabis is shaping up to be worse than the records of Presidents Clinton and Bush.
We need to ensure that President Obama and his reelection campaign are inundated with calls and questions about this puzzling stance that runs counter to the will of the voters and the administration's previous promises.
For those of you with businesses serving patients directly, please ask each of your patients to make a phone call to the White House this week, starting tomorrow (today is a Federal Holiday). A printable sample script is provided below for patients and the White House phone number is available fordownload online.
This is neither a time to panic nor a reason to surrender our fight for freedom and equality as American business people. However, this development should galvanize our industry to work for the common purpose of changing federal law.
