Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could elaborate on my situation.

I bought a few of the One Step THC test dip strips, and tested my first morning void twice without any fluid beforehand and passed the tests with a faint negative line. I also tested in the day and as the days went on the lines in the day got darker.

My lab test came out positive for thc at the level of 25 ng/ml GC/MS.

I was aware that the 50 ng/ml immunoassay test is equivalent to the 15 ng/ml GC/MS confirmation test.

Can anyone please explain to me why my level wasn't at least close to the 15ng/ml GC/MS level. Is it possible I got a bad batch of test strips ?

Thank You

Also the sample was sent to quest it was about the 5th void of the day.

I'm also 5'6 189 mid-average metabolism and have been a chronic smoker for 4 years.

Your thc metabolite levels will vary during the day and from day to day depending on eating habits and activity levels. Its only a guess but thats probably what happened. Thats why I still think subbing with synthetic urine is a much safer way to go.
