First room, sound good?

First timer here, I'm a learn by mistakes guy..

Having a 10x10 room split in half. For flower/veg.

Using 1x1000 watt light each room..

12 plants in 2 gallon pots

Penda plastic walls

120 mm computer fans, 1 in, 1 out for vents.

1 rotating floor fan inside.

does this sound ok? Any tips?

Having said that going on what you've said my first problem I see is you exhuast/intake system, for 1000watt MH you're going to need to exhuast that heat out of the room with a powerful fan and get air into the room quick with a powerful intake, I don't think 120mm computer fans will work there.

I would suggest not splitting it in half....you will need more flowering room than for vegging. I suggest using 1/4 for vegging, and 3/4 of the room for flowering. Although there is nothing wrong with 1000 watts for vegging, it think its overkill. I would suggest saving money on both equipment and electricity by going with a couple of 4 ft flourescents that you can pick up for $15 each at Home depot. That would reduce the heat quite a bit, but you will still need better exhausting. I would suggest a 6" fan. They run around 700 cu ft per min. (CFM). If you exhaust near the top of the room (heat rises), you will not need another fan to bring in fresh air, as long as the opening is about 3x bigger than the exhaust..... and it should be nearest the floor of the room. That is called a "passive intake"
In the vegging area, using fluorescent lights, will not add much heat if any. You should have a fan inside the room to move the air around.

okay thank you for the advice, did you mean use those lamps for both stages or just veg? and will it be strong enough?

If you have the ability to go HID, do so. The 4ft flouros key is referring to are great for veg, but often you run into canopy penetration problems and require additional lights (especially if you get some big tall branchy bitches, I've had fluorescent fixtures lined around a room like dressing room mirrors). Exhaust and ventilation will be key, and don't forget odor control if you are in an apartment or shared housing. Exhaust fans are cheap, just make sure you have everything set up first so you dont HAVE to learn by mistakes. Hell, grow a tomato first.
