curious if there are any groups in the portland METRO area

Hi,
I am a fairly new OMMP patient and I was wondering if there are any groups (support groups, gatherings) in the metro area of portland. As in hillsboro, beaverton, or anything close to that. I would like to get ideas and meet others who are in the same boat as me. If anyone knows of any and would like to share them, I would gretly appreciate it. I have been invited to ones in salem and in portland, but I live going out towards the banks area and that is a bit of a drive, not to mention hard on the wallet to drive out there. Amber, we have several posts and threads from that area. As recently as a few weeks ago. More people are on-line on the week-end and like thinking people may drop in. You are very lucky to be where you are-anywhere in the Metro area! You may look into some of the threads and find, there is a lot of hope.

I would contact a local group: Americans for Safe Access; Marijuana Anti-Prohibition Project and Norml for any local info. Your doctors office may have some info for you, as well.

It is my understanding you have "Clubs" up there and access is reasonable and well worth a drive, if necessary! Good luck to you and welcome to the forum. pr
