In a sealed Room which would be Best? Installing a Window A/C unit in the wall (pushing cool air in) or placing a Portable A/C unit (pushing hot air out and blowing cool air) in the Sealed Room.

Using window unit AC's work great but you must compensate for the great amount of heat they put out. I use 2 25,000 BTU window units to cool my sealed room but on the outside of the room the temps are pretty hot.

Hope this helps...

If you want your room to stay sealed, then you must use a window unit. A window unit uses outside air to disperse the heat from the room via the outside heat exchanger (that radiator looking thing that gets hot on the back of a window ac unit). A portable unit uses inside air through the heat exchanger that it vents outside, along with any odors from the room. Unless you get really fancy and get a portable unit that has an air inlet for the exchanger, but the price goes up for that.

Fhh, what did you use? I had a portable unit in my home and the exchange for hot air out was hot to get near. Meaning, you can control the temp. easier with a window unit, cause it was releasing heat from the tube going out. I got some "insulated" tubing to try it and did not try.
So, gave up on the portable all together! pr

About now, I think the question is: hot to keep the girls warm! pr
