If you live in Denver and there is a large increase in your electric bill due to using several 1000 watt grow lights, will Xcel Energy notify law enforcement?

Also, is anyone familiar with Denver police using infrared cameras on helicopters to locate grow rooms on private residences?

AFAIK, it isn't legal for Xcel to disclose private customer information. However, if the police have other evidence against you, they can obtain a court order allowing them access and neither the police nor the power company would be obligated to inform you if this was the case.
