A friend of mine told me about some sort of way for the cops to detect if there is weed growing from a helicopter, using some sort of camera or something like that. First of all does anyone know if this is true? The reason im asking is because I have my exhaust in my grow room venting up through a flu pipe through the roof and when he said that I got a lil nervous.

u mean like a thermal scan? believe it or not cops do have a budget and if u live in a residential area I highly doubt they will be flying over ur house with thermal scans. I think u only have to worry about helicopters if u have a large outdoor garden.

they do use thermal scanning to collect evidence against a grower. however its evidence, its not how they get caught.

in NY they recently had a huge bust by the DEA. those guys got caught because one of them was away on vacation and his scubber stopped working and he was blasting his garden spell thru his apartment building.

someone that lived there called the cops about the constant MJ smell.

so in conclusion I wouldnt worry about the cops catching you via a thermal scan. chances are if they have a scan on your house you are already caught.
