well, i have nine sprouts: three white passion (WP), two white widow (WW), two widowrella (WRA), and two white rhino (WR). one of the WR's was very late to sprout and looks like it may die, so i will have to start another one.

they are all about a week old....give or take a few days.

Nice pictures of your kids. My girls have grown so big we went ahead and moved them outside.

By the way, you should call me sometime. My boss tells me we are waiting until June to decide if we are going to bring someone in. He wants to see what level of business we will be at.

glad to hear about how good your plants are doing. mine seem to be growing a bit slowly imo, but at least their healthy.

I'm gonna take some pics this week so you can see them, but there doing real well. I'd have to guess mine are now 18" to 24" tall. When i put them outside they just took off. Of course, the downside to growin outside is that you have to wait until fall to harvest......

Oh well, what the hell. There's plenty of smoke around to last until fall.

mine seem to be having a bit of a problem. it looks like underfertilization, so i have steped up the dose. it's weird because my bagseeds seem to be doing fine. maybe those canadian strains can't take this heat or something. :mad: i hope i can nurse them back to health soon(fingers crossed).

Allright dudes, here are the updated pics I have been talking about. The first pic shows what I think is the best plant of the bunch, and this girl (hopefully) seems to have really taken to her new outdoor home. Because of the area, we did not want to clear the other ground cover fearing that would draw attention, but these plants don't seem to mind. They get plenty of sun and are located near a water supply. Pic 2 shows a different plant but it is also doing well. Since they have been outside (about 5 weeks) they have taken off. At this rate they are gonna be monsters by fall. At least I hope. :cool:

I'll post some new ones again soon.

And Dylan, the funny part is the outdoor pic you posted of the river looks an awful lot like where I planted, although I have a general idea where you are and I don't think its close to us (I think you know where we are too.)

Glad to see they are starting to take off. I am worried cause mine are almost too big this early and I wonder how noticable they will be by fall. Have you ever trimmed yours down, to make them grow out instead of up?

Sorry to hear you got no smoke. Something will turn up soon I am sure, just keep yours eyes out for it. I have noticed weed sometimes tends to pop up when you least expect it.

i noriced in dylans picturs the dirt seems to be kinda sandy looking. so did u use the dirt near the creek, that seems like it would be well fertilized in that area.would it be too hard to get a grow light and just try to grow some in my closet??? i had friends in college that did this but i never heard if they got any yield out of it but i saw the plants a few times and they looked good. but i guess that wouldnt be very smart to do it in my apt tho

hey ganja, i almost always "topp" my plants. i just clip the growing top and new ones grow out.

sometimes i just grow in the natural soil, and other times i will mix some top soil, potting soil, perlite, sand, or other soil (additive) into the mix.

btw, growing in an appartment is ok, just don't tell anyone.

hey ganja, here is a pic of one of the plants i just topped. in case you wanted to see. after i topped them i staked them down with cobob stakes and twisty ties.

what is the purpose of tieing them down..

when i get some new batteries for my camera i will post some better pics, but they cost about $15, so when i have some money to spare.

however, tieing them down will help the lower branches to grow along with the upper branches. the more horizontal the plant is the more light will get to the bottom helping the lower branches grow. it keeps the plants short and boosts the harvest. pics will come soon, but this crude diagram will help a bit.

yes, that can be true, but as long as the plant can handle being big it's ok.
i am going to keep these small though.

here are some pics of the bent plants now that they have started to grow some branches. the pics are not quite as good because i had to use a different camera, but they're pretty good. you can see a difference between the ones in the ground that are tied down and the ones in the pots that are not. i planted the ones in pots in the ground today though, so in a week or so i will be tieing them down too.

I'm still around, just been REALLY busy at work. I'm kinda pissed my boss won't let me hire anybody yet to help out. Of course, If I did hire someone it would be Dylan, and that would be pretty cool, you know, to have someone with as much grow knowledge as you.

Anyway, I'll be postin some new pics soon. I failed to clip my plants in time so they are tall and thin, but they should still yield some decent smoke. The cool part is that by harvest I think you (Dylan) should be able to smoke again, and I plan on sharing any yield.

here's a few more shots. they're about to my waist now ant the tallest point, and i've topped them at least 4 times. most of the plants have at least 6-7 branches....some have more than i can count with all the clutter. i'm very anxious to see the females, so i can thin them out. my CP strains are going good too, but not as vigorous as i like.....hopefully the quality of the buds will make up for it.

unfortunatly as most of you know hurricane dennis has been here for the last week or two causing lots of rain and storms. my plants got it too! only one payed the ultimate price, but mothers got leaves and branches injured :mad:. all of them are now covered in mud and debrie(sp). these photos were taken after i picked most of the debrie off of them, but their still covered in mud. they should be fine if we don't have too much rain in the near future.....maybe a light mist to clean them off would be ok, but any more than that will just piss me off. i shure hope that's the last hurricane that comes our way.

things are starting to look a bit better :) . the past few days have been nice and..........no rain!!! :eek: . i went out to feed and water them today (sorry no pics this time) and they are looking better, but still not great. i pulled three males and found a few confermed females :D . hopefully that will be all the males, but with all the stress these babies have had i don't know. i'll post some pics in a few days.

hey chronic, i just kill my males unless i want to breed them. the males don't produce buds; they produce flowers, but not buds. i will post some pics of the difference soon. this year i think i may try to breed some of my hardier plants, so next year the seeds i grow will be better suited to this enviroment.

ok, here are some pics. they're all up to my chest now and have been really streching to prepare for flowering. i just gave them their first dose of bloom ferts and pulled a bunch of males.....about half of them, and one hermi that i transplanted into a pot to grow elsewhere just for fun. i couldn't get a goo pic of a female, but i did get one ok shot. i also have a couple of shots of a male before i pulled it.

Hey Dylan,

When are you going to harvest?? My plants are flowering too, but i don't know what to look for to determine harvest time.

i will harvest around the middle of october or the end of september. you must look at the plant to really be able to tell. the best way is to clip a small trichome covered leaf off and look at it under a microscope. the tricomes will look like mushrooms, and will change from clear, to milky white, to amber. the best time to harvest is when most of the trics are milky and some are amber. however, you can also tell, although not as accuratly, by looking at the individual flowers. the plant will almost stop producing new flowers and begin to thicken up, and the pistoles will turn red and shrivl as the pod begins to swell like a seed was growing in it.

hey everyone it's time for another update. it is now 4.5 weeks flowering, and right after katrina hit my neck of the woods. luckly my plants were not effected as much as they were with dennis, but my potted hermi was washed away........i really don't care, but i did want to make some hash with it because it was pretty crystally. my plants don't seem to be flowering as quickly as i would like, but oh well. here are some pics.

I talked to Charlie today and he told me the news. That is just incredibly fucked up. Now I am glad we did not go out and check it out together last week. That would have looked mighty suspicious, even though I would never do fucked up shit like that.

So do you suspect the cops, or do you think somebody ripped you? I would be willing to bet you end up finding out who did it. A haul that big is bound to show up somewhere. And dude, you are one of the coolest dudes I know. I will gladly lend some muscle if you find out who did it. Just say the word, bro.

And not to make you feel even more shitty, but my plants are flowering like crazy. If you go out there, take a peek. I took a small sample bud to test the potentcy, but it won't be ready to smoke for a few days......Stay tuned.....and call me if you need anything.

I tested my sample bud today and I must say I got quite a nice buzz, so we are going to be cutting them down to dry this week. I don't think I'll get too much out of the two plants, but it is nice to smoke your own stuff. I will try to take some pics before we cut them down.

Dylan, should I rip them out by the roots or cut them down? And I heard once you should hang it upside down for a few days. Any help would be great.

And I've been thinking about you getting ripped, and Damn do I feel bad for you. And for me. You have no idea how bad I wanted to sample your stuff. I can't imagine how you feel.
