Where to begin?

Evening folks,

I am looking to find myself a home for RI conversation and it seems I may have done that when I found this joint. My preference would be observation of a few meetings so that I may get a feel for the community here in RI. I dig y'all on the forums, but there's just a credibility involved with an in person association that I happen to appreciate. However, it strikes me that there is but one meeting a month which is hosted by RIPAC. Yes, they have numerous meetings each month, but only the 2nd Tuesday of each month is open to those that are not patient nor caregiver.

Simple question; should I be aware of other organizations within the state? If so, recommendation?
