taproot problems help

Hey noob here this is my first grow and im having some problems with one of my seeds I planted it about 3 days ago and some how I must have put the tap root upwards : ( so today before work I noticed that the root was out of the soil and a lil dry so I decide to take a tooth pick move the dirty around the seed and flip it so the taproot was facing down .. did i make a mistake or with it be ok .. ?

Being a newb grower myself, I have no idea how this will turn out. You'll have to keep us informed on what happens! I'm interested in seeing how the final product looks, as well.
