ok so i currently have a grow room that i plan to grow probably 8 or 10 plants. right now i am using a 400 watt metal halide and i cant, for the life of me control the temp in there so i want to use flor tubes. i have adequate space for as many needed. im just wondering if i get enough T8 tubes, would it be sufficiant light for 8 or 10 closely spaced plants? i found someone on craigslist selling a set of 6 4foot T5 tubes for 110 with all equiptment needed. does that sound like a good idea, and also would they be enough light? i dont have alot of money so im looking for the most cost evective way. so im in the crossroads where i am deciding between T5's and T8's. i need some advise here. also, if T8s will work. How many?

No.....work on your heat issue....you have to solve it.....what type of exhaust fan do you have....where is your grow located?????is it in a garge that is not insulated?......did you do any reasearch prior to starting your grow.....???? read any grow logs on here....there are at least 100 that deal with tents closets....did your read any of the FAQ's.....the ELcheepo guide to lighting thread?????...How about the grow bible...did you read that? front to back and then re read it again?????

IF you do all of the above....you can become a grower.....if you stay at it.....why do you think there is so many adds for used grow equipment?????because it is SOOOO easy to fail.....

Just because you are a "stoner" does not make you a grower......to achieve it takes more that asking a few questions on a website.....but if you take the time to ask after you show us....you have done some reasearch....and did some planning.....there are many growers that will help you on this site..

Keep seeing these kinds of posts. Just spending a few hours researching online would answer 90% of peoples basic questions.

Oh, wait, it's summertime - the majority of these kinds of posts are likely made by underaged people that shouldn't be on this board.

The lack of capitalization, usage of improper punctuation, and lack of basic research skills pretty much nails it down to that being the issue.
