View Full Version : Worrying, alot about recent drug test! Please Help!

i took this pre employment piss test at labcorp last tuesday, by now it's been 3 business days and the weekend. I was clean for 58 days, I weigh about 140 - 150lbs usually. Exercise every other night, like tonight (pushups, situps, jog) and eat somewhat healthy though I do enjoy junk food. I'm pretty thin, don't have much fat on me at all really. Before I wasn't even a regular smoker, I smoked 3 different times in a span of 2 days ending May 21st and the last time before that was 4 months before and before that it was a whole year. Again, my test was on the 19th of July. I haven't had a call yet from labcorp or my POSSIBLY FUTURE employer. I'm sorta kinda worried that it is a positive and my future employer won't call, but labcorp has just not bothered to tell me yet, or maybe it was positive so they did extensive testing on it, only to confirm a positive and haven't called to tell me yet either. I thought that it took usually just 24 hrs to confirm a negative and I'd be on my way. I'm worried, anyone got some experience to calm me down?

Give your employer a call and ask for your "start date". The employers response there will shed the light on whether youve passed, or if the employer had moved on to the next applicant for hire.
Never inquire about the test results! A "clean" person would never do this. Doing so will only make things look bad for you if you want to be viewed by the employer as a "clean person".

Seriously, anyone? It's now been a week since the test, counting the weekend, and they haven't called me yet. Will either one tell me if I'm positive?

I want to let everyone know that I was negative :) and a sarcastic THANKS to the lack of attention this thread got. And I am writing my result because I want people to look at this and feel more confident about their situation since I came out safe in mine. :)
