Does anyone know if a light being 5000K vs a light being 2700K (same watts) would be better or not?

Im asking this because I found some CFL lights that can get to be about the equivalent of 400 watt bulbs that fit in normal sockets, use less energy, and NO HEAT. So I see this as being something better than HPS considering they can be REALLY close to the plants even though the HPS might have better quality light for the plants.

CFL's are great to use, I use them but haven't been able to find a red spec. (2700k) bulb.

I know they exsist so i must find!!!

5000k = Blue spec, better for vegitative growth.
2700k = Red spec, best for flowering.

A grow light of 5500K will have more blue than a 2700K, thus better for vegging.

I have never seen a 5000k bulb though.
