I was wondering if anyone could tell me the average amount that growers are paid/reimbursed for what they supply the dispensaries with?

Our master grower is an owner and partner in the company.

Talent and genetic collection is a major factor that any center would be looking at, or you can start as a grunt if you can find a position.

We have a small staff and are rarely hiring.

Wow that is interesting and guess I asked for a couple reasons. My daughter has her medical card and went to a Tacoma dispensary a couple months back with 1/2lb in overages. The particular dispensary looked at her product (2 different strains) and really liked the looks of both and wanted both. They gave her some song and dance about not knowing either strain and wanting to see how patients liked it. They also claim it was still moist and would dry up approx 10 grams.... it was bone dry. They told her they would pay (compensate) her 780.00 for 1/2lb. They told her that they wanted to see first how it is liked and they might decide to keep it in stock and would be able to pay more if it is liked. She was in a hurry that day and wasn't using her brain and agreed. They took over 3 weeks and 3 seperate trips to collect as well. On one trip there an actual customer came in while my daughter was there and purchased some and stated how much he liked it and was there for more. I did some research on the dispensary and found them claiming they have to charge the patients so much due to paying their growers 25.00 per eighth and that was why they had to ask 45.00-65.00 per eight for donations..... What a total crock..... anyone care to do the math for that? Guess it was buy one get one free day for them :(

It's like going to a pawn shop, they make your shit sound like it's crap "but they really want it" then offer you shit for it. You go back a week later and they're selling it for $50 an 8th. These shops need to be shut down and people need to stop going to them. I met a guy in Auburn CA with a true collective, he sold me AAA nuggets for $480 a QP and I got to pick 3 different kinds. The same stuff they're selling for $280 an oz.

I agree 100% with you and that is exactly what they did.... They saw her coming a mile away and were just were talking out their ass on everything.
After she told me what went on I googled the place and that's when I really got pissed....to be polite... I'm not a big fan of dishonesty . When I read the clubs actual employees claiming they have no choice, but to ask these larger donation prices due to they have to compensate the growers for all their costs and pay 25.00 per eight.... arrrgh.

I actually had my daughter copy the link site and question this particular dispensary, on the site where they quoated online the reason they ask for such high donations from patients comment was. She brought it up to them and they ignored her and likely offered her a edible treat for free....

I agree they should all be shut down and to call themselves "Non-profit" what a joke...... Guess you live and learn in life and hopefully she learned.

Yeah, IMO FUCKEM! A friend said she almost cried when she sold a few lbs for $1600 each, she needed the cash. Like I said they are no better then a pawn shop.

Ask them for their tax ID and tell them you are going to notify the IRS that they are operating for profit and you have documented proof of it. Right now all the big dispenseries in Oakland are being audited and it's going to come back and cost them a fortune to settle. I have no problem with for profit businesses but these are strictly to be non profit. Growers need to unite and do this right.

They pay me 400% my actual production costs per ounce, because it's still cheaper than the majority of everyone else they get from and usually much higher quality.
