I have read about digital ballasts causing interference with cable.

How do I test this to make 100% sure I'm not interfering with cable?

The only thing I could think to do was speed test with the lights on and off, figuring that if there was interference there would also be a speed drop at the very least.

I noticed absolutely no difference in speed, but I am interested in knowing if this methodology is sound or if there is another way to test this that's more concrete?

TIA

As long as your ballast isn't right next to your digital cable box, you should be fine.... I haven't had any problems with interference....box and ballast are maybe 20ft apart and when ballast is on, cable and wifi work perfect.... I guess it also depends on how many you have....as long as they are far enough, you'll be ok....

thanks guys.

I got the piece of mind now, no longer worried about the cable guy snooping around.
