4 different strains into 11th week of flowering.
crystals are looking very milky so have just flushed and now waiting for the first signs of amber and will then cut them down...cant wait!
not the best pics but constructive critisism is welcome.
cheers

this will sound like a stupid question.. (i'm new) when you say 11 weeks flowering. How long ago did they germinate?

3 of them were 5 week old clones which i put on 18/6 for 1 week after i bought them
1 was from a seed which was on 18/6 for 4 weeks

Why didn't you let them veg longer? I see this frequently on here and my thoughts are if you're going to go through the trouble you want to maximize your yield. You might be surprised how much additional veg growth you'll get over a month.

for me a 3 moth cycle is enough...horses for courses

just seems like a waist of time to wait that long for a ounce of smoke.. ru just starting out?

Three month cycle? You've been budding for almost three months. I did a 5 month winter/spring grow and you'd be surprised how much of a difference a 4-5 more weeks make.

5-6 weeks of veg growth before flowering is typically the sea of green method but those growers are growing dozens of plants at once, the idea is if you have the resources for dozens of clones you can harvest every four months but you're only getting a small amount per plant.

this is my second indoor crop and i don't consider it a waste of time or trouble at all, for me it's fun and ejoyable. As long as I have enough smoke to last from one crop to the next I'm happy. :)

Id be ashamed if those were mine.

Oh stfu.. those are sativa's..I think.

name dem strains?

lettting your plant veg to be huge is cool if you have a big enough light source for flowering.. if your working with dinky light, small plants that produce more bud/veg material by weight are the way to go

Don't bag on the guy, if he gets enough from harvest to harvest to last and he's happy with it who are we to critisize.

I still think he could let them go a big longer.

OK I was not specific enough. Id be ashamed If I had payed to run a 600watt or 1000 watt light for that yield. If it was out door or under 600 then its great.

Yes It was harsh but honest. Would any of you be happy with those if you had paid for the lighting that long.

I'd be worried if it were outdoor :P... should be easily 5times that size and harvested nearly 4 months from now

I don't think those guys get enough light. They reminded me of a photo I saw in my grow bible.

Ya need more light, and an even canopy.

That looks like a CFL grow to me. unless you place your 600 watt 10 feet away your not gonna get stretch like that. It probly cost the guy 50$ to grow that. thats a good deal for a ounce of smoke imo and if it lasts him till his next harvest then more power to him!

Hi Madda Fakka,
What kind of light are you using?

it's just a 250w hps in a dr60 grow tent (80X80X160).
LOL I was pleased with my 'work' maybe it could be better but its just for me...like i said before as long as I have a never ending supply of weed its all good.

you should try to keep a mother. and get another tent and just light it with cfls. That way you can throw one clone in vegging and one straight to flowering. Im a sea of green type of guy and for not vegging I think that your right on track. Instead of working the bud on a stick technique you got going on you should try some l.s.t. It will keep your canopy closer and make those lower buds grow better.

You did a nice job. The plants look good. Are you asking for constructive criticism because you want to increase your yield? Or is that enough weed to last you till your next grow?
It is hard to tell from the pictures but the cannabis you grew looks good, so growing is not a problem for you.
Are you asking how to increase your yield yet still grow multiple strains?
Is your next grow also going to be sativa dominant?
how many plants are you allowed to have?
If you are happy with the amount of weed you grew then I would not change anything. I think you did a great job for personal smoke. If you want to increase your yield a bit we can work on that, and then you can have some smoke for your friends too. If you weant to do that you should tell us what you plan to do next?

Thanks dude
I was just wanted to know what people thought of my plants really, if they looked ok and everything looked 'normal'...i am new to this but from what you say things are lloking fine so i dont thunk i'll mess around too much...1 thing though, my first grow was indicas and they were bushier but the main cola wasn't so big...whats the best for my space 80x80x160 indica or sativa? I think 4 is enough for my tent.

Any strain would be great for that space, it just depends how you go about growing it. Since you are growing for personal use, I think you should focus more on what strains you enjoy smoking. Since you are gainning experience growing both sativa and indica, you will get a feel for how different plants grow.
Would you rather be smoking indica or sativa dominant strains?
If you grow 4 plants, we get 62 watt's per plant, you want .5g-1g a watt.
I would aim for an ounce a plant.
that sounds resonable a qp, for a 250 watt light.
Lets aim for that, we will do so with minimal change in your growing style.
Would you like to grow an indica or sativa dominant strain next?

lying to him and telling him he did a great job will never allow him to get better.
His grow wasent that bad but for a 250. Plant health was within normal operating range.

Your at a good starting point, now you fine tune your technique.
The shape of your plants is the only problem core problem. The tallness causes other problems like tops of plants finishing sooner than bottom. Any thing low gets little light.
I like what whitem5 said.
